I planned this month’s entry a while back when I was in Singapore. Rather than take a landscape, I wanted to photograph a cityscape at night. Because I was travelling, I was using a much smaller camera than usual but it still allowed me to use the long exposure that was necessary.
I set my camera on a tripod for this long exposure shot of downtown Singapore. There was a short period after the sun had gone down when the sky took on this striking blue colour. Fortunately, this coincided with a time when a boat was just leaving the harbour.
Technical details: taken with a Fuji X100S (23mm) 30.0 secs at f/16, ISO 200.
How did I do?
I didn’t get placed in the top 50. Ah well, Onwards and upwards!
