In January 2014, I started a project titled "52 Portraits" where I aimed to take a portrait every week for the year. It was a challenge, not least because I don't know 52 people. I managed to finish the project but not without the help of people who managed to find sitters for me. One of the people I met as part of the project was dancer Heather Young. Heather was an academic at the University of Lincoln and thought that an appropriate backdrop would be the University library. Just out of shot to the left of this picture is Sandy Willmott, who put me in contact with Heather, and who is holding the lighting umbrella for me.
