This privacy policy was written by me, David Travis. I run this website as an individual and last updated the policy on 5 August 2025.
I may ask you for personal information, but only when it’s needed to provide a service. Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis for processing your data depends on the service: if you sign up to my mailing list, I process your data based on your consent; if you buy a photograph, I process your data to fulfil a contract.
The personal information you give me will be used exactly as stated. For example, if you sign up to my mailing list, you can expect to receive one or two emails per month describing my work. Every one of these emails will contain an option to unsubscribe from the list.
If you purchase a print, I'll use your email address to keep you updated about delivery — but I won't add you to any mailing lists or send you anything unsolicited. Similarly, I'll use your postal address to send you your order — not to send promotional material.
I’ll never sell, rent, share or distribute your personal information. I don't like to receive junk mail, and know you don't either.
If you want to access, correct or delete any personal information I hold about you, just get in touch.
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data via cookies. This helps me understand which pages are popular and how people find the site. IP addresses are not stored or logged, and no data is collected that can identify individuals. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
