This image shows Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island.

I attempted this composition last time I was in Lindisfarne. But at that time the castle was being renovated and there was scaffolding around the castle. This time I knew that the scaffolding had been removed but my visit coincided with half term. As I knew it would be busy, I planned my visit to arrive just after sunrise. There was no-one else around except for some fisherman and a couple of National Trust volunteers.
